Ebay PowerSellers
Currently I noticed that there are a lot of Ebay PowerSellers who are buying mobile phones from us and dropship to their customers worldwide.
There are some issues that we have to bring this up to people who sells via online auctions.
According to Ebay rules, a seller can online list items or products that they have in their hands to sell in Ebay Auctions. There are a few recent cases that Ebay and Paypal are freezing sellers account to check whether they have their stocks before selling. Either it is Ebay Auction accounts or Paypal Accounts are affected.
One recent case, this guy has a handful of listings in Ebay and money has been flowing into his Paypal Account to a total of $12,500. Suddenly his paypal account was frozen. He was asked to produce invoices of his stocks. This happens to me in the past. Almost every week, my account was frozen and was requested to produce invoices.
What kind of bullshit is going on in Paypal? Trying to take control and ruins our businesses here. Imagine, all your customers lose faith on you are as a powerseller. Worst of all, you get all those bad rating over night.
There was another case, when a customer started to be serious about selling in Ebay. He started with a few mobile phones and it was overwhelming respond than make him a good profit. Then he started to fire up more auctions in ebay.
Suddenly his account was frozen too. This time Ebay accused him of selling stolen goods and asking him for invoices. Come on man! It seems like Ebay is a CyberCop.
A general rule of thumb that I want to point out. Paypal is a payment processor, they have no right to stop you account and freeze money. But they successfully did it. Millions of account have been frozen and closed. Money was robbed. Read more at Paypal Backdoor.
Ebay is an service provider - online auction. They have no right to accuse people of what they are listing. By stopping the account, the Ebay PowerSeller is no longer a power seller anymore.
In order to rectify this issue, we have also come out with some strategies to play about their rules.
