EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR CAMERA, CAMCORDERS AND LENS
Dropshippernetwork is now offering extended warranty for all cameras, camcorder and lens as detailed below:
Products that come with 1 year standard warranty / 1 year international warranty:
1 year Extended Warranty – 3% of product cost
2 years Extended Warranty – 6% of product cost
3 years Extended Warranty – 9% of product cost
1 year Extended Warranty Plus – 5% of product cost
2 years Extended Warranty Plus – 8% of product cost
3 years Extended Warranty Plus – 11% of product cost
Products that do not come with 1 year standard warranty / 1 year international warranty:
1 year Standard Warranty – 3% - 4.5% of product cost
2 years Standard + Extended Warranty – 6% - 7.5% of product cost
3 years Standard + Extended Warranty – 9% - 10.5% of product cost
4 years Standard + Extended Warranty – 12% - 13.5% of product cost
1 year Standard Warranty – 3% - 4.5% of product cost
2 years Standard + Extended Warranty Plus – 8% - 9.5% of product cost
3 years Standard + Extended Warranty Plus – 11% - 12.5% of product cost
4 years Standard + Extended Warranty Plus – 14% - 15.5% of product cost
Please note that the standard warranty for camera is 3% except for Casio, Samsung & DSLR which is charged at 4.5% as 1 year standard warranty, however, the subsequent extended warranty is charged at 3% per year. For ease of reference, please refer to the particular camera/camcorder/lens that is available on our website which will be automatically calculated when you select the warranty/extended warranty options. From the years onward, all warranty plus must ship back ti Dropshipper Network for claim, shipping and repair cost included.
EXTENDED WARRANTY POLICY
1. WHAT IS EXTENDED WARRANTY?
Extended Warranty is a service offered by Dropshippernetwork at the time of purchasing that extends the Warranty period on selected hardware products up to a total of 3 years.
Extended Warranty provides for the repair or replacement of products if the product fails after the Manufacturer’s Warranty has expired.
The Extended Warranty Plan provides you with additional protection once your existing warranty plan expires. This option can be purchased upon ordering of the products which are not refundable or returnable.
2. WHY SHOULD I PURCHASE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY?
There are numerous benefits of extending your warranty:
- Total peace of mind where you are not liable for any shipping cost to return your faulty product. No labour cost to bear or even spart parts cost. Normal manufacturer warranty may not cover such minor items that will put a hole on your pocket.
- Your extended warranty can be claim anywhere in the world, this means that you can claim for the extended warranty although you are not in your home country. This include even when you are travelling to overseas for a long period of time or you have migrated.
- Longer coverage period of more then the usual 12 months manufacturer warranty period.
- Guarantee Turnaround Time for return and repair service of not more then 45 days. Otherwise a similar replacement will be sent out to you.
- The plan provides complete parts and labour coverage with no hidden costs up to a total of 3 years.
3. WHAT IS COVERED UNDER EXTENDED WARRANTY?
The Plan does not cover the cost of transport of the product, you can ship back the product to us using your own shipper or you can opt to use our courier company at discounted shipping cost. The shipping cost will be quoted on case to case basis depending on the weight and location of the product.
If we are unable to repair the products due to lack of availability of spare parts during these warranty period, replacement will be made with the same or an equivalent model based on its' current market value at the discretion of Dropshippernetwork. As a general guideline, we will replace you with products value as below:
- If the products were sent back to us for repair during the first year of purchase, we will replace you with the same product or another product of similar value if we fail to repair the products economically;
- If the products were sent back to us for repair during the second year of purchase, we will replace you with the same product or another product equivalent to 75% of the product value will be awarded if we fail to repair the products economically;
- If the products were sent back to us for repair during the third year of purchase, we will replace you with the same product or another product equivalent to 50% of the product value will be awarded if we fail to repair the products economically.
Please note that the above replacement value is served as a general guideline only and we do not guarantee that such value will be honored as the replacement value will be dependable on the market value of the products that you purchased.
The Extended Warranty operates on the same terms & conditions as the Manufacturer's Warranty for the period of the extension. Our warranties generally cover parts and labor costs resulting from a mechanical or electrical failure of the camera caused by defects in workmanship and/or materials.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY:
This warranty does NOT apply if it is shown that the defect or malfunction was caused by:
- Misuse and abuse
- Tampering
- Alterations and modifications
- Damage as a result of accident, liquid, grit, impact or lack of proper care as indicated in the manual of operations
- Removable batteries and damage caused by leakage of those batteries
Accessories that are NOT covered under the terms of the warranty include flashes, batteries, power adapter, digital media, software, LCD, lenses and additional accessories, other expenses or consequential damages.
4. WHAT IS EXTENDED WARRANTY PLUS?
Extended Warranty Plus is a service offered by Dropshippernetwork at the time of purchasing that extends the Warranty period on selected hardware products up to a total of 3 years plus return Door to Door Delivery cost for both ways of shipment. This is most suitable for customer who does not want the hassle of going to post office to ship back the items. We are using express courier service for all shipment such as UPS, Fedex or DHL. The shipment will be picked up from your place and ship back to us and vice versa when the repair is done. Please note that we only cover 1 full return shipping cost (both ways) for the warranty repair, any additional shipping cost involving the same warranty claim will be borne by the reseller.
5. WHEN IS THE EXTENDED WARRANTY STARTS AND EXPIRES?
As an illustration, you ordered a camera on 1-Mar-08 with 1 year normal warranty and 2 years extended warranty, therefore you will have a total of 3 years warranty covered. Your warranty period will starts on 1 Mar 2008 and ends on 28 Feb 2011.
6. HOW DO YOU PURCHASE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY CLAIM?
You can order the extended warranty for all camera, camcorder and lens by simply selecting the extended warranty option which is available on all these products. The extended warranty charges will be automatically added to your product cost which will show the total product cost + extended warranty. The invoice you receive via email is a proof of purchase that you ordered the extended warranty which will be referred to for your future warranty claim.
7. HOW DO YOU CLAIM FOR WARRANTY OR EXTENDED WARRANTY?
Please fill up the warranty claim form from our website and submit it online, our claim dept will revert to you with a RMA claim form so that you can send it back for warranty claim:

Please note that we will verify to your invoice as proof of purchase of the standard warranty / extended warranty you ordered, please ensure that you have ordered the standard warranty / extended warranty before filling up the warranty claim form.
