Mobile Phone Warranty - IMPORTANT

Please note that our electronic products (mobile phones) shipped from Malaysia are with a 12-month warranty. Products (mobile phones, digital cameras, cameras, etc) shipped from our shipping centers in Hong Kong and Singapore by default are without warranty. Warranty is an optional item that can be added on products shipped from our Hong Kong and Singapore shipping centers.

The terms and conditions of our manufacturer warranty are as follows:

Warranty Repair services will be provided for products defect arising from normal usage for the following period, commencing from the date of purchase from our web site. (Part will be replaced when necessary)
   a. Mobile Phone and parts : 1 year
   b. Technical service fees : 1 year
   c. Battery and Charger : 1 month
 
The warranty services does not cover expandable item including :
   a. Handsfree  Kit
   b. Desktop Charger 
   c. Memory Card 
   d. Data Cable
   e. Display Screen (LCD)  
   f.  Defect on Camera 
   g. Blue tooth
   h. Sling
   i.  Antenna
   j.  Chassis
   k. Cover Casing or Pouch

Under the following circumstances, service and parts will be chargeable even within warranty period :

  • Full particular are not shown or alterations made against the actual information for e.g. alteration of the date of registration or serial number.
  • This unit being tampered with, altered in any way by any unauthorized technician or which has been subjected to misuse, negligence or accident. The warranty does not cover damage occurring in transit or operated contrary to instructions.
  • The defect is caused by the attack of household pests, fire lighting, natural disaster, pollution, water, abnormal voltage or the usage of generator.

This warranty shall not apply to wear and tear of parts such as antenna, keypad rubber, plastic cover, batteries and battery compartment cover.

At the time of return, pack equipment carefully against shock, insure parcel, enclosed Warranty Card and describe defects.

This warranty excludes any liabilities which are not expressed above, such as forwarding expenses or travel.

The warranty covers the products that are purchased directly from Dropshipper Network

When are the products not covered by the manufacturer warranty?

Any product, which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
 

Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:

  • Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
  • Repair or attempted repair by anyone else.
    Any damage of the product due to shipment
  • Removal or installation of the product.
  • Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure
  • Use of supplies or parts not meeting the product's specifications.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Any other cause, which does not relate to a product defect.
  • Removal, installation and set-up service charges by any third party.

How to obtain warranty service for my customers?

  1. Kindly ensure that you provide these warranty terms to your customers.
  2. Inform customer that it is advisable for them to send back the phone to you (reseller). *1
  3. Reseller check the claim of warranty is valid. *2
  4. Reseller collect some warranty deposit from customer. eg. $100 depending on the defects.*3
  5. Reseller only need to send the phone parts (for e.g. the phone only if the suspected problem is within the phone only) back to us with the warranty claim form. *4
  6. Repair Faulty Phone and Ship back to Reseller. Collect charges if any.*5

*1 - Request for customer to ship the product to the reseller.
*2 - We want reseller to engage in warranty claims because there are quite a few invalid claims due to users’ negligence/accident. 
*3 - Deposit is collected if you suspect the phone may not be claimed under warranty (for example, if the phone is damaged due to external cracks or obvious scratches which indicate that the phone may have been heavily dropped previously)
*4 - We prefer the reseller to be involved in warranty claims because there are occasions of false claims. Kindly be informed that we do not bear any of the shipping cost incurred in the process of returning the product to us and vice versa.  It is advisable to declare in your customs declaration form that the phone is sent for repair with a value of not more than $100. If not, we could face duties/taxes or difficulty to receive your shipment.
*5 - Dropshipper Network do not bear the cost of shipping the product back to the reseller or your customer directly. If the phone returned to us is not under warranty claims for whatever reason (for example if the user dropped the phone into a swimming pool) customers will have to bear charges of freight, labour and parts charges.

Warranty excuses?

There are many occasions when customer is asking for a warranty claim because of their own action whether or not it occurred accidentally. They may have dropped the phone, dropped it into a swimming pool, etc. Please check and inform customers about all these allegation as it will cost a lot of money to transport and repair the mobile phones back here.

Inform your customers that the service and repair center are specialist in detecting whether a product has been negligently damaged by the user and is not in the normal operating conditions of the product. 

* For products covered with international warranty, please send to your local service center for repair/replacement by presenting the warranty card to them (this warranty card will be sent together with your shipment).

* For products not covered with international warranty, please send to us by Fedex or DHL or other reliable shipping company (at your own cost) for our repair/replacement. Kindly note that buyer is solely liable for any shipment lost-in-transit if the appropriate shipment method was not used. Please allow up to 30 days for the product to be repaired or replaced. We are also not liable for any shipment lost-in-transit when we ship the product to you or your customer after the product has been repaired/serviced.
