Reseller Data Files Updating Procedures

Below are the steps for updating your website products prices on a weekly basis.

We have created the files below in accordance to the categories of product and different mark-up percentages namely 10%, 12.5%, 15%, 17.5%, 20%, 22.5% and 25% to cater to our reseller mark-up options. Resellers can still make changes to prices on each individual product by themselves through the admin section of their respective websites.

We do create few currency for reseller : AUD, USD, GBP, NZD, MYR, EUR Please select the currency following your webstore primary currency.

Special Notice: Please inform that we are close for Christmas Holiday 23th Dec 2009 - 3rd Jan 2010, there will be no prices update during this period. Sorry for any inconvenience cause to you.

We have locked our data files, due to some misused purpose. If you are authorised reseller, you can email to renee@bytestopia.com to get for the access password.

Currency we use in data files:       USD To GBP 0.62 USD To AUD 1.10 USD To NZD 1.35 USD To EUR 0.67 USD To MYR 3.40

Please note : New Categories added - Watches. We have added Swiss Army, Calvin Klein and Tissot watches into data files. Please feel free to upload. Please upload the watch categories, before uploading the watches data files.

We have added Australia Mobile Phone in our data file, when you upload the mobile phone data files, it will automatic show in your webstore.

New products : This weeks added - Panasonic TM300, TM200, HS200, HS300, LG GC900, Nokia 5730, 6700, 6730, 6720, Sony Ericsson C903, Olympus Pen E-p1, Panasonic G1

Categories uploaded this weeks : Mobile Phone, Digital Camera, Camera Lens, Camcorder

New products will be added on weekly basic. Once you uploaded the data files, new products will be automatically uploaded to your webstore.

*New products launch in Dropshipper Network, we will be add into reseller data files after 1 week time.

Please take note, if you are going to add your own products. Please kindly consult us. Because it may be overwrite your products. If you upload our data files.

Products Data Feed Upload Process :

Step 1 : Upload the category files first.

Step 2 : After upload the category files, you can start upload the products data files.
(if you not sure how to upload prices, please go to upload prices process)

These are the categories data feed files that we have :
 

Step 3 : After upload all the products categories files, you can start upload the additional data files on below.

Step 4 : Please make sure you have done the step 1 and 2, then only can continue upload the products option, details Images and feature products files.

Additional Data Feed :

We do create additional data feed example : details image, memory card option, extended warranty...... These files are not compulsory to upload.

Products Option (3 files): Memory card, Extended warranty, Camera Case, Screen Protector, etc. Will display on that individual product page

Detail Images (2 file) : We do have different view of products images, will display on that individual product page

Featured Products (1 file) : We will update the feature products on twice a month. Will be select those best selling or new products.

Price Updating Process for resellers data files

There are two type of method for uploading prices:
Method 1 - Download to your computer and then upload the data files. (Recommend this method)
Method 2 - Copy the whole URL link, and upload the data files.
 

Method 1 :

1. First of all, you need to download the data files and save your computer.

2. Go to the data files page,
http://www.bytestopia.net/datafiles/New/AUD/ then select the files you want and right click and “save link as”, please kindly save your own computer

3. Please login to your webstore admin area, please go to Administration section on the left side of the webstore

4. Click on the Import/Export functions.

5. Under "Import data" page, please select CSV delimiter: "Tab"

6. Thereafter, select “The source of import file” : Home Computer (refer picture below):

7. Thereafter, browse the files from your computer.

8. Then click import button.

9. Please be patient as it take several minute to upload the data files.

10. After the files have been imported successfully, it will show “Data imported successfully”

11. Once show “Data imported successfully” mean that files uploaded.

12. Please repeat the same process from steps 1-10 for other categories so that all prices are updated completely.

1. Please login to your webstore admin area, please go to Administration section on the left side of the webstore

2. Click on the Import/Export functions.

3. Under "Import data" page, please select CSV delimiter: "Tab"

4. Thereafter, select “The source of import file” : URL (refer picture below):

5. Thereafter, copy the URL files which you wish to upload from the data file location as indicated above and paste it to blank area in the import data file area (refer picture below):

Example : http://www.bytestopia.net/datafiles/New/AUD/CamcorderAUD125.txt
Please copy the whole URL to upload.

6. Then click import button.

7. Please be patient as it take several minute to upload the data files.

8. After the files have been imported successfully, it will show “Data imported successfully”

9. Once show “Data imported successfully” mean that files uploaded.

10. Please repeat the same process from steps 1-9 for other categories so that all prices are updated completely.
